Recycled Items from Your Kitchen with Another Use

There are some packaging options made to be more durable than others. If you purchase the smaller bags of fancy coffee, you may have noticed that they come with a thick twist tie at the opening edge to reseal the bag. Take them off the bag and reuse them to organize coils of rope or cable.
Reuse a 2-liter soda bottle as a plastic bag dispenser. Cut off the top and the bottom with a knife. Remove any rough edges or apply tape to keep your hands safe. Stuff the bottle with plastic bags and hang from the inside of your cabinet for instant access.
Instead of spending money to reline your shelves, cut up old window shades to the right size. Ask at your local home center if they have any extra fabric or broken shades lying around that you could use.
By recycling simple items around your home, you’ll save money but also give these items a new life.
